Based in the heart of Wayne, PA, The Freehouse opened its doors in September 2006 to provide the suburban Philadelphia communities with a place to experience the authenticity of a true British pub.

The term "freehouse" is known all throughout Britain as a public house that is not controlled by a brewery and so is free to sell different brands of beer and ale.

We took that literal definition and applied it to our pub, providing patrons with a unique experience right in the heart of Philadelphia's Main Line.

The Freehouse is a smoke-free establishment, providing a haven for all who come to dine / drink with us.
